The best way to determine if a child needs therapy is through a comprehensive evaluation. However, here are some signs to look out for:
AGES 2-5: Difficulty pronouncing sounds, limited vocabulary, difficulty following directions or understanding questions, frustration when trying to communicate.
AGES 6-10: Any of the above, and/or difficulty formulating sentences, grammar errors when speaking, word finding difficulties, decoding or reading comprehension struggles.
AGES 11+: Any of the above, and/or difficulty with social communication, or poor performance academically.
