Our mission at Pathways is to empower young minds and support them in multiple areas of academic and communication skills using evidence-based practices. Through personal relationships with our students and their families, we create individualized therapy plans and empower our clients to reach their goals.

What is the difference between speech and language?
Speech includes fluency, voice and articulation. Articulation essentially refers to the way a student pronounces sounds and words. Language refers to how students understand and communicate with others. Language includes skills such as following directions, asking and answering questions, expressing needs, vocabulary, grammar, etc.
